The centrifugal millet huller uses the principle of inertial force in which the grains are rotated with high speed and made to hit hard surface. This centrifugal process taken place in millet huller enables to remove husk form the millet grains and the output obtained consists of dehulled rice. The centrifugal millet huller has provision for box type aspirator in which the rice is separated from the husk removed, so that the husk is not mixed up much with the dehulled rice obtained from the output of centrifugal millet huller. The double chamber millet dehuller is the most advanced and robust dehuller for Millets in the market. It removes the skin of millets like little, kodo, proso, barnyard, foxtail and browntop millets. It has processing capacity of 300 kg/h. The husk and rice are separated through a separate aspirator. It runs with a 7.5HP Three phase electric motor.


This machine is most suitable for de-hulling small millets like foxtail, little, kodo, proso and bardyard millets. It has processing capacity of 80 kg/h. It operates with single or three phase one HP electric motor. The husk and rice are separated through a cyclone separator and the blower assembly. It has de-hulling efficiency of more than 95%.


Grader is used to grade grains based on their sizes. An aspirator is attached with the grader so that the light weight impurities like dehusked skins will be separated.

The output of the millet dehuller will contain a mixture of whole millet rice along with few percentage of broken rice, unhulled grain and husk. This post hulling destoner is used for separating the whole rice from the broken rice. An aspirator is used for removing the husk. Finally in the grader the broken rice and unhulled grain are separated. At the end of this process we can get 98% dehulled unpolished millet rice.

Process Description :

When the agitator rotates, the Material is carried radically around the inside of blender. Outer & inner ribbons move the material in opposite direction. Thus the triple mixing action takes place. The Roaster is provided with M.S. Jacket, which is filled with special purpose heating Oil. The Heating oil in the jacket is heated by Electrical operated Oil immersion Heaters, inserted from the pocket at the corner Mixer. Once the oil in the jacket’ is heated, the material in the container is uniformly mixed as well as roasted. Electronic Digital temp controller controls the required Temperature of heating. It is ideal to set the Themerature at 1800 to 1900 C. while roasting. The oil heating can be carried out with Gas instead of Electrical heaters as per the Customer requirement.
